Your account. Trouble signing in, a verification that did not come through, or a student plan that is not showing.
A bug. What you were doing, what you expected, and what happened instead. A screenshot helps more than a paragraph.
An export that came out wrong, a layer that will not load, or a map that does not look right.

Before you write in.

Do I need a GIS background to use this?

No. Search a town, draw the area you care about, and export. The curation and the export presets are the GIS knowledge, already done, so you don't have to bring it.

What towns do you cover?

The whole US, on request. The live count on the home page is what's built out in depth right now; if your town isn't in it, create a free account and request it from inside the app and we'll add it.

What can I actually export?

A titled PDF site plan sheet, a figure-ground image (PNG or SVG), a layered DXF for CAD, and a Rhino .3dm site model with real terrain and massing geometry. See "What you can do" on the home page.

Do I have to pay?

Looking around costs nothing and never needs a card. An account is only required to pull a file out. See our Pricing page for where that stands today.

Is this just for students?

No. Built for design professionals as much as students: studios and practices of any size use the same tool. Read why we built it if you're curious where that started.

What happens to my data?

Signing in creates one Synthetic Schematics account. The same login works across every tool we build, not just this one. We don't sell it. See our privacy policy for the specifics.
